Favorite YouTube Videos For Classroom Management

There are simply a jagillion videos on YouTube and it's really hard to find the one that will suite a teacher's classroom management needs. Here are my top 5 Classroom Management videos I use in the classroom. First a foremost I could not get through a day without a little Harry Kindergarten.

I've embedded one for you to get a taste. Just a heads up, the videos that display after this are not necessarily appropriate for a classroom. I'm not going to click on it no matter how much my students beg. You just never know. As always with YouTube or any other site on the internet review first and proceed with caution.

Harry Kindergarten - Clean Up Robot
Harry Kindergarten- It's Time To Clean Up
Harry Kindergarten- Come To The Carpet
Harry Kindergarten - Criss-Cross Applesauce
Harry Kindergarten - If You're A Kid

"The Times, They Are A' Changin'".

"The Times, They Are A' Changin'".  Many of us Bloggers are stepping out of our text and pic world into the semi-scary world of video.
I went onto YouTube to see if I could find a video on how to make and publish a video onto YouTube and then embed it into my blog.
After a bit of searching I found these two videos  How To Make A YouTube Video Part 1 and Part 2 .  I hope you find them as useful as I did.  Now if you'll pardon me I've got a YouTube video to produce.

App Review- Reading Raven

Reading Raven, 3.99. Was it worth it? Yep. For one thing my own kids love it and have practiced their phonics and reading fluency skills with this entertaining and educational app. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/reading-raven-hd/id496586135?mt=8 It starts simply with Lesson 1 matching lower case to lower case letters rewards with providing the sound and picture to the letter and correct letter formation. It moves into matching letters to sounds and then the best part... "You get a sticker!" In Lesson 3 children are reading words and recording themselves as they read. May I say they L-o-v-e, love this. In the final lesson they work on sight words and more letter sounds. Great App.

Sticky Stuff Gone Wild

Do you hate those bottles of glue as much as I do?  Yah, they're good a few times and then.... Yucky.  They stick, they clog, they complicate my life to no end.  Anyone know of a good way to manage these little buggers?
